The Experience:

Your event experience starts from the time that you leave your driveway until you return home. Rides4Fun has partnered with a national navigation company to offer our guests the capability to choose to have “Best Motorcycle Roads” mapped for them or select the fastest route to and from the event. Visit Rever.co

When this event location's address is 85554 Blue Ridge Parkway, you know you're about to experience two-wheel nirvana. New for 2026, this getaway is located at milepost 86 on perhaps America's best National Scenic Byway. The property features a majestic lodge on the banks of the glistening Abbott Lake.

Ask any seasoned motorcyclist and they will tell you that America has three iconic roads. Each of them should be on every rider's to-do list. Pacific Coast Highway on the western coast, the "Mother Road" Route 66 for crossing America and the 469-mile Blue Ridge Parkway. The entire parkway is part of one of nation's greatest national parks. With every mile, there seems to be another incredible scenic overlook to gaze in wonder at Mother Nature's beauty and grab a photo.

This event has a lot more to offer than just experiencing the parkway. It is located close to the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest, which will offer guests looking for an adventure experience a lot of big-bike friendly miles to enjoy a more primitive route. The street riding in this region of Virginia is some of the most enjoyable and scenic America has to offer. The many small communities nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains offer some the most authentic hospitality you can find. You will have plenty of time to indulge in southern Appalachia comfort food or enjoy more modern choices.

If you enjoy history, the famous Greenbrier Hotel secretly housed the underground Pentagon (The Greenbrier Bunker) at White Sulpher Springs, West Virginia. It is a short 70-mile ride away and you can enjoy a great lunch after taking a tour of what was once the biggest secret in America during the Cold War area.

D-Day Memorial Park allows guests the opportunity to sample 93 miles of great riding and take in the patriotic heritage that the Blue Ridge Mountain region offers. For 2026, the memorial will be celebrating its 25th anniversary. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the history of how the memorial came to be built and was self-funded. When hunger starts to set in, consider visiting Soul Sister & Brothers Kitchen at 117 Moneta Rd (what the locals say is the best southern comfort food available).

Roanoke Star Park is a 73-mile route that gives guests a glimpse of the Mill Mountain Star that overlooks the city of Roanoke, just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Roanoke Star was built in 1949 as Christmas decoration and became a permanent symbol of the “Star City of the South.” It stands nearly 90 ft tall and uses over 2,000 ft of neon. It can be seen as far as 60 miles away. The town of Roanoke offers plenty to explore, as well as some great lunch options. If you have a sweet tooth, try Blue Cow Ice Cream.

Great Mountain Views will have guests relishing in part of America’s favorite 469-mile drive (the Blue Ridge Parkway). Constructed in 1935 as part of “The New Deal” to help put people back to work, the 130-mile route takes guests through historic Lexington, Virginia, with plenty of great lunch stops to choose from.

Take in 82 miles of enjoyment and explore Natural Bridge State Park that features a 200 ft tall natural bridge of limestone carved out by the rushing waters of Cedar Creek over centuries. While exploring, stop by the visitor center under the bridge to enjoy Lace Falls 50-ft-plus cascade or get a fresh made sandwich from the Natural Bridge Country Store.

Buena Vista / James River provides 115 miles of one scenic vista after another along the historic James River. Bask in mountain scenery, river falls and rolling valleys. There are plenty of great lunch stops and history to explore while visiting Buena Vista (or BV as the locals call it), as this was a booming town in the 1800s and one of the fastest growing in the Shenandoah Valley. Today BV is focused on outdoor recreation and the home of Southern Virginia University.
